Resin Installation Checklist

  1. Has the correct size hole been drilled? Should be 2mm larger than the fixing.
  2. Has the hole been cleaned? i.e Blow out pump or Hole cleaning brush.
  3. Has the user read the information on the tube (leaflet in the box(caps)
  4. Has the nozzle been installed, including the helicoil?
  5. Has the user wasted 2 18" strips to mix the hardener thoroughly. The colour will change to a dark grey colour.
  6. The hole needs to be filled to approximately 1/3 to ½ full to allow for displacement. Do not overfill.
  7. When the fixing has been installed give it ½ a turn to ensure the resin fills the threads of the stud.
  8. Leave to stand for as long as possible. (refer to information on the tube (Leaflet with caps) for setting times as it differs with the environment it is in)
  9. Is the user using the follower to push the resin out of the tube? If not the hardener may not mix as it should do.
